For those who like Candle Cove (the creepypasta and the "real" series) I made a cartoonist, sketch version of the "Grrrrreatest pirate, sorcerer and vain villain of the world".

Also, a little reference to the great and powerful trixie in the bottom drawing.

Nice work XD Horace looks hilarious bless him.

In the description when you say "real" series, what do you mean?

I mean the real candle cove. Apparently, it truly existed a local TV show in Ohio called candle cove. The creepy pasta is supposedly based on that one show, because it has only one and a half seasons and then "disappeared", it has poorly made scenarios and stuff, and the characters were overall creepy and caused a bad impression both in children and their parents.

BTW, thanks for commenting here.

I see! It's interesting to hear that there was a true story inspiration for the creepypasta, and you're welcome ^_^

This is just brilliant! I am truly a big fan of Horace Horrible! Indeed he is the greatest Pirate, Sorcerer, and Vain Villain of the World! I like how you have made him into a childish drunk. I tend to picture him as a deity summoning, drunk, cultured, and highly intelligent psychopathic gentleman. You tend to lose your sanity one way or another once dealing with the dark arts.

Well thanks, and all that is true, actually. I always imagined Horace as the kind of person who, though being incompetent and childish, thinks that he's better than anyone else. I also think that he should consider the skin taker more than a friend than a boss, unlike how the skin taker would consider him more like a servant.

I like your way to draw him, but the "normal" eye you draw on his face scares me a little. I'm more used to a more cartoonish drawing style, I guess.

Why thank you. I tend to put in a dark and creepy theme to my sketches. Horace's terrible past and experience with the dark arts had caused him to lose his sanity. He tends to let his pride and insanity consume him. Believing that he truly is the "Greatest Pirate, Sorcerer, and Vain Villain of the World." I believe that he truly despises the word Horrible. Knowing that he believes that he is better than everyone else, hearing the word Horrible with his name attached to it makes him psychopathically outraged. He prefers to be known as The Great Horace. Highly intelligent and experienced with the dark arts, Horace can summon many entities like The Skin Taker. I truly do believe that The Skin Taker should be more of a friend to Horace as well. Indeed.

Talking about the skin taker, and if you have time to talk about, how do you imagine the abysmal kingdom (you know, that world where the skin taker is supposed to come from)?

Well. According to Percy, The Skin Taker came from the depths of Hell. Though I picture the Abysmal Kingdom as a realm of powerful entities. A dimension of dieties, soul collectors, and other unknown and unimaginable beings. It is a highly mysterious realm.

Again, I'm happy to see how we both think the same way. Have you ever tried to think in any kind of inhabitant from the abysmal kingdom apart of the skin taker? Is a good way to come up with original characters.
