Description
You see, around february last year, a friend of mine was all like "hey dude have you ever played pokémon?" and I was all like "No I only grew up with the anime lol" and then he was like "you should play this game is called pokémon reborn dude" and that's how I found what would be my first pokémon game ever, called PokémonReborn (link here: www.pokemonreborn.com/game/). Is a fan-game made by a team of fans (duh!), but that unlike the main games, has a VERY increased difficulty in gameplay, as well as complicated puzzles and a gothic-kinda-depressive-but-still-well-written story. If you are into pokémon and you want to play it, you won't be disappointed (plus is a computer game, not a HackROM, for those that can't use their phones as emulators). This game is so much better than the official pokémon games that a lot of pokémon fans that have played it have found the courage and motivation to make their own pokémon fangames, and so in the forums of Reborn you can find projects like Pokémon Rejuvenation, a game that is a tribute to Reborn in several ways. And then sometime ago, in these forums I'm talking about (check: www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/), some guy was all like "hey wanna make a full fakédex with me?" and I was like "lol sure I like drawing" and months later we actually talked about the idea and we're now making yet another pokémon fangame, one with fakémon, called Pokémon Se7en (yeah, Se7en as in, that Morgan Freeman movie XD; the game has nothing to do with the movie but you'll have to agree with me that Morgan Freeman is awesome :3).
While Se7en is intended to have an increased difficulty to that of the main games, it has a more "traditional" development and mechanics than those of Reborn or the official pokémon games of the 6th generation (X&Y - ORAS). For instance:
· This game has no mega-evolution system.
· No trade evolutions exist (i.e. things like Gengar would evolve by level or such)
· Instead of using any of the official 721 pokémon to date, we have a full pokédex of 156 original fakémon. Canon pokémon will appear in the post-game however, as well as the 8 Eeveelutions and Ditto will be available during the gameplay.
· The region, called Graterras, is inspired in real life Australia, so you can expect lots of bug types and ground types.
· Some of the fakémon are very, VERY powerful (and I mean even by Smogon standards lol).
· Like in the canon games, there are 8 gyms, an Elite 4 and a Champion. Defeat them all to become the Champion yourself!
Anyways, sorry for long ass description and well, I hope someone likes it :3
